How I Work
A concrete, 6-step process to take you from ambiguity to a clean launch—without guesswork.
The 6-step workflow
Discovery & goals
We clarify what success looks like, who the site is for, constraints (budget, timeline, market), and what needs to exist on day one.
Architecture & scope
Sitemap and page structure, core messaging hierarchy, technical decisions, and an SEO-ready foundation (URLs, metadata plan, internal linking).
Content direction
We turn structure into page outlines and required content. If copy or assets are missing, we define exactly what is needed and in what format.
Build
Implementation in a clean codebase with responsive UI, performance basics, accessible structure, and integrations where needed.
QA & launch
Cross-device QA, SEO checks, redirects (if relevant), deployment, and a handover that makes the system maintainable.
Iterate & maintain (optional)
After launch we fix edge cases, improve pages based on real usage, and optionally continue with a maintenance/iteration cadence.
What you receive
- A clear scope, timeline, and responsibilities
- Sitemap, page outlines, and content requirements
- SEO-ready structure (clean URLs, semantics, metadata plan)
- Implementation (pages, components, and agreed integrations)
- Performance and accessibility basics (practical, not bureaucratic)
- Deployment + handover checklist and documentation
Boundaries & expectations
- No legal advice. I can implement standard legal pages (imprint/privacy) and privacy basics based on templates and your inputs; legal review remains your responsibility.
- Clear feedback cycles are required; delays in content or approvals move the timeline.
- Revisions are included within the agreed scope; additional work is quoted and scheduled.
- Work starts after a written offer/contract is accepted and a 50% deposit is paid; the remaining 50% is due before launch or on delivery (as agreed).
- You keep ownership of your accounts and access (domain, hosting, analytics); I may need temporary access to implement and deploy.
